Rosie was a graduate of Lebanon Catholic High School Class of 1956. She was retired from the Hershey Lodge and Convention Center and then began her most favorite role of taking care of her grandchildren. Rosie was a faithful member of the St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, an active member of the Areba Club, and Hershey Italian Lodge. She was a very loving and dedicated wife, mother, and Mom-Mom. She had a heart of gold and loved by everyone she met. She enjoyed reading, cooking, watching Hallmark movies, traveling, and attending her grandchildren’s events and activities. She loved her family and friends deeply and enjoyed spending time with them.
She was the widow of Silvio D. “Zack” Zaccagnini. Surviving are her daughters Donna Vogel and husband Pete, Lori Sotack and husband Jeff, Julie Moreland and husband Dave; six grandchildren Amanda Mikus and husband Greg, Alyssa Sotack, Max & Matthew Vogel, Riley & Carly Moreland; one great-grandson Raylan Mikus; sister, Margaret (Fala) Brown, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her sister Maryann (Fala) Engle. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, September 16, 2021, at 11:30 am in the St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 359 West Areba Ave., Hershey. Visitation will be from 10:30 am until time of Mass at the church. Interment will be in the Hershey Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Heart of the Parish Fund at the St. Joan of Arc Church, Hershey. Share condolences at www.hooverfuneralhome.com
