Theresa Elizabeth Croak joined her family in Heaven on September 10, 2016. She was the daughter of the late Nicholas and Dellia Ortenzi born in Brooklyn, New York on December 21, 1924.
She moved to Hershey at age 7 and graduated from Hershey High School in 1943. Following graduation, Theresa worked at the Mechanicsburg Naval Depot before her marriage. Then in 1964/65 she was employed by the State of Pennsylvania until she retired at age 66. She was a caring mother and grandmother. She was an avid bridge player and played with the same group of ladies for over 50 years. She was a member of St. Joan of Arc and St. Charles Bottomeo Catholic churches. Theresa was the widow of Raymond W. Croak. She is survived by her son John Croak (Sheila) and her daughter RaeAnn MacIntyre(William). She also has a grandson William (Katie) and a granddaughter Kelly (James) and 2 great-grandchildren Peter and Ennis. Theresa also leaves behind 2 sisters Grace Cluely and Mildred Ortenzi. Visitation will begin at 2:00pm on Friday, September 16th, followed by the funeral service at 2:30pm in the Hoover Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc. in Hershey. Burial will follow at the Hershey Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be sent in her name to Tidewell Hospice Philanthropy Department 5955 Rand Blvd., Sarasota, Florida 34238.
